Competition Dates:     July 24 - 30 (Open water following the meet TBC)

Travel Dates:      July 21 - 31

Swimmer Fee:  Estimated entry fees $150      

Criteria:  Time Standards, Work Ethic based on intensity of training, Motivation and objective to reach full potential

COST: 

Fees for every swimmer on the trip training with Island: 

  • Meet entry fees
  • Coaches expenses (flights, per diem, hotel, car  etc.)
  • Team travel costs (for team travel participants)

Fees for University swimmers or training center athletes: 

  • Meet entry fees
  • Coach costs:
    • If coached by ISC: coaches expenses (flights, per diem, hotel, car etc.)
    • If coached by Uni coach: $50 ISC coach fee
  • Team travel costs (for team travel participants)

Funding provided by ISA HP:

  • Travelling with the team: $200 - $700 depending on national events attended
  • Travelling & staying on own: $200 - $700 depending on national events attended
  • Swimmer lives in the host city: Entry fee is covered
  • ** UNIVERSITY ONLY**  If not full meet 50$ a day
 

Chaperone bonus: 20% off team travel costs (excluding flights) for chaperone’s swimmer(s)

NOT travelling with the team:

Swimmers not on team travel must arrive on the same date as their teammates and be on time for all training sessions and competitions. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask.

In this option, the swimmer will be allowed to participate in team activities if they are organized.

Team travel 

2 options : Opt1: Full: flights, hotel, transportation, meals and other activities.

Opt2: Own Flights: hotel, transportation, meals and other activities. **The family will be responsible for arranging transportation from:

  • the airport  to the pool or hotel (cab, Uber or other)  
  • the pool or hotel to the airport  (cab, Uber or other)                             

Team travel deposit: 

  • 500$ For FULL  (non refundable)
  • 300$ Own Flights  (non refundable)

Withdrawal Team policy

In the case of withdrawal due to illness or injury, with an accompanying doctor’s note, all or partial refund is at the discretion of the Director of Swimming. Refund amounts will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and will depend on cancellation timelines negotiated between ISC and suppliers, non-refundable expenses incurred by ISC and the impact to other participating families.
